ok this isn't a huge problem but on this forum people never stay on topic.. there are few, if any topic that after 1 or 2 pages are still talking about the topic at hand.
for example currently in the 'in her shoes' topic we are talking about spelling. in 'condom vending machine' we seem to be talking about claire's skank skirts, the tv show the bill and pole dancing. and lastly in 'harry potter' we are discussing what time we get up befoer school.
do you think we should stay a little more on topic? or does it not bother you?

I don't rally mind. If we stayed on topic it would mean that the topics would get old and people wouldn't want to post anything. It also makes them more interesting. We could try to stay on topic a bit more, but we should still make the post interesting. Like with condom vending machine the topic could get old quickly.

i couldn't agree more with Lil. I used to try to stay on topic but it has gotten too hard now as everything is off topic. I think, if you have something to say that has nothing to do with the topic, then create a new one about whatever you want to talk about. the topics dont all have to go on for 5 pages talking about whatever peeps feel like saying.

this is a bit off topic, but is it possible to make it so we can upload our anvitars and not have to have our own webspace?

*rollz eyes* could off topic on a topic that already completely off topic... there are plenty to choose from.
you know i doubt even if everyone thought we should stay on topic they would. i think we just don't just don't have the ability to. cause we are all pretty much friends and start chatting about anything.

I am the dip stick that voted yes. I dont actually think 'yes definately this forum is a mess'. But i think people should try not to spam quite so much. I think it is fine as it is exept for the off topic-ness. so i am really half way between 'yes definately this forum is a mess' and 'no, its fine as it is'. But i voted yes. If i really thought 'yes definately this forum is a mess' i wouldnt be on it.

yah actually i've changed my mind about the wording oh the answers. if you vote for yes you are not necessarily saying everybody has to stay on topic all of the time jsut that it's something that peeps might want to think about more.

I think that we will find it hard to stay on topic. Every one, even now when we had tried to stay on subject, finds posting off topic things easy.

I think that changing the topic half way through makes more sense than creating new topics, anyone can change the topic back to its orgional self but having a topic on Caligraphy (which is what Spooongecake and I are currently talking abut in College) would be dumb because only two people would post, besides who cares if a topic goes on for twenty pages talking about watever, aren't we enjoying ourselves. I think Bronte said somewhere that this forum was made so we could catch up outside school, I think we should be able to catch up about anything, there is only so many times you can say how cool harry potter is, and when the movie or book comes out we will go back to talking about it because there will be tonnes of new stuff to talk about. however I really don't care if we stay on topic, in fact I am still having fun either way

I must agree with Tasia. She has made very good point. I support every thing she has just said.

Ok, you have made a good point. I just prefer things a bit more organised. You go into a topic and there is no way to know what people are actually discussing. It doesnt really matter what we say though. People will just keep doing what they're doing.

I see both sides. Well lets say that can we try to keep a little to subject but we can alowe room so we can go off the topic a bit.
